[Summer 2017 E-7] [Reclaim Western front! Operation Rescue U-loop] Stage 7

This post will be updated with confirmed information pertaining to map E-7 as it is spaded. The thread can also serve as a starting point for people to discuss the map if they want.

Disclaimer: Information in this thread is subjected to change when new or additional data is made available.

General Event Outline, Participation Requirements and Difficulty System

To participate in this event, you must have a sortie win rate of 75% or above. You also need at least 5 spare Kanmusu slots and 20 equipment slots. Completely depleting the health bar and therefore clearing the map will lock it in the chosen difficulty, it cannot be changed afterwards.

    Event Map Summary
    Operation Locking Combined Rewards LBAS
    E-1
    E-2 t
    E-3
    E-4
    EO-1
    EO-2
    EO-3

*There will be no fleet locking on easy difficulty

Please be aware that it is not possible to increase the difficulty between maps by more than one. As an example if you have cleared E-1 on "Easy" you will not be able to select "Hard" for E-2; only "Medium" will be available. However players will be able to choose "Hard" again for E-3 if you pick "Medium" on E-2 for this specific scenario. This does not affect the ability to decrease difficulty; players will still be able to choose "Easy" after clearing the previous map on "Hard".

Your delivery of freedom is here. Choke on this!
    [+] Spoiler

This final map, all I can say, is a test of your patience. Cleared it on medium, after countless runs (6 boss kills would have settled it).

Golden rule for E-7: Do not use slow ships unless you want go on a grand tour

Like previous maps, this map has gimmicks, and 2 to be exact.

Right at start, see that dead end nodes P and R? Go there. R is easy to S-rank. As for node P, A-rank is enough due to the factor that that node has Summer Harbour Hime, Artillery imp (or Supply Depot Hime in medium and hard) and escorted by PT imp packs and a chance of a submarine in one of the formation. Good luck getting an A-rank there
    [+] Spoiler
Psst. There is a rumour that this crazy node P drops Prinz. Have fun.

Next, see the loli SS Hime in nodes H J and K? S-rank all of them (I not too sure whether all 3 needed, I just beat all 3 of them up). Node H is easy to reach, just pick node G at start. For nodes J and K, it looks random to me as of now at node E. So take the opportunity to S-rank node R a few more times if you keep going the same route, "something oily" might be waiting for you at node R. Or vary your number of BBs and CVs around.

Once done, you will see the route H=>O and L=>O will appear.

Now, go back P and R one more time. But this time you will need a Transport fleet to reach P (not sure if got any other ways. Maybe a slow STF?). Once done you will the quest clear sound effect. This 2nd gimmick ... whatever. Debuff? Damage boost? I do know at certain time my ships can do abnormal high damages with the 2nd gimmick activated.

2 gimmicks unlocked, time for the real fun. What I use was Maya+FBB+4CV(B)s with 3CLTs + Abukuma + 2DD. Load as many blue planes while securing around 400 air power (might be lesser needed).

As long as you use a fast CTF with only 1 FBB, you likely go the fastest CGHOQTSU route. If you are unlucky you might go up to 2 more air raid nodes (D and L). On this route, every single battle node has 1 Hime waiting for you and can send you home early, especially the loli SS Hime node H (The main test of your patience in this map).

The boss node, on easy and medium is quite manageable, 3 squads for LBAS bombers plus a Maya AACI can wipe out the European Princess bombers and gives you a nice AS+. Only last dance in which a BBooty will appear to replace a Ru-class BB in easy and medium.

As for hard, well, wait for someone's report. Better pray hard if doing hard, one look of it and it is 100% not my cup of tea.

For medium rewards, your usual medal and screws. And a Swordfish Mk.II (skilled). And of course the Ark Royal.

@RivieraBlue Congrats, man. It was a hard fight.

I am still at LD, waiting for that one chance the sub hime would let me pass. It is really just that sub hime that screw this otherwise fun map.

@RivieraBlue Congratz! i just finish the shortcut gimmick and doing debuff gimmick now on Hard. my resource still okay so i will give it a try

and i actually go to P with STF accidentally. with Bismarck Maya Kumano Chikuma Chitose Chiyoda (1 FBB 3 CA(V) 2 CVL) and ABKM Kiso KTKM asashio Satsuki Verniy (1 CL 2 CLT 3 DD)

And the 2nd time, i went to O, so i might be random and it's better to use transport

Something I want to add. For full fixed route, use a fast fleet with 1 DD in main fleet, and not more than 1 CLT. Akizuki class is the best candidate of that DD. I would also strongly recommend bringing a FBB in escort fleet. This will reduce preboss taiha in a certain degree.

Edit: It seems that Yura k2 in main fleet would also give fixed routing. Not sure if this is a Yura only thing or that all CL would work. In this case, Yura with full seaplane fighter could be a better option.

For routing to node P after unlocking the shortcut, an STF with Maya/Roma/Zara/Pola/Chiyoda/Chitose + Yuubari/Fumizuki/Libe/Asashio/chikuma/tone gives me the route CDGFHLP. (I am not 100% sure if this route is random or not)
Transport fleet with 2bbv4dd + 1CL3dd2ca will route you to P as well via a shorter route CGHLP.

I am still struggling in LD, and I don't know how long it will take for me to clear. For easy/med guide, please look at @RivieraBlue 's post.

Do you sparkle your fleet or YOLO every sortie?

@Makikaki For LD, over half of the runs are with fully sparkled fleet. 1/25 of the runs reach boss node so far without the use of goddess. Granted that every ship in my fleet are only lv99, but still this is tough.

If only we can get rid of that sub hime in node H................

    @211303
That's kinda funny, the lowest ship in my fleet is 126 so pretty much every ship has 100+ evasion and I always sparkled each and everyone.
So far my ratio of reaching the boss is 19/7... and still not at LD.
Despite this I still get rekt to red at T the most (usually when 3 pieces of ---- show up).

I haven't got a clue how can someone luck out the LD without damecon or hayasui on hard, the 0 fuel is already a death sentence thanks to garbage evasion rate... the insane amount of resourse cost of each sortie doesn't help either.
Oh well... 160k fuel 180k ammo and 230k+ bauxite and steel left, maybe it'll be enough to pwn the boss.
