[Floating Continent] is a new stage for adventures, an undiscovered land floating above Misterio, waiting to be explored.
Floating Continent features a new equipment enhancement system, with [Shine Badges] and [Enhancement Stones], and other exclusive items and equipment.
※ Requires Main Quest Volume 1 Chapter 5 Cleared to access
The Floating Continent features [Areas] you can choose, and a Floor Map image is displayed.
You can move across this Map to explore different areas as the president.
[President Movement] can be [precisely] moved to the destination point, or [freely] moved to explore the surrounding area.
You can encounter battles while exploring, encounter certain status improving events, damage taking events, or even events for discovering resources.
※ If the destination point is too far, the exploration may end before reaching it.
You can change your party with the [Party Change] button during your exploration.
Area and Floor
The Floating Continent features various Areas, and each Area has several Floors (levels).
Reaching each Floor will feature a scene change, and as you continue your explorations, each Floor can be revealed completely.
To continue to the next floor, you must proceed to the [Portal] and defeat the [Gatekeeper].
In each Area, proceeding to deeper Floors will feature more powerful enemies, and they will have accordingly valuable rewards.
You can continue to explore and discover new Areas.
The President icon shows your current location.
The destination is shown as a Flag. The colour changes depending on [President Movement].
The exploration starting point is a Tent, where you make base camp.
During your explorations, if you fail in a battle, you will be reset from other floors to this point.
The next floor is depicted by a Portal.
Defeating the Gatekeeper grants access to the next floor.
Floor Mission
Each Floor features a Mission.
Clearing all these Missions gives a reward.
Weather and Time of Day
The Weather and Time of Day on Floating Continent can change, and depending on this, the monsters and their items will change.
Weather and Time of Day will change depending on the amount of time that has passed.
News Flash
Each Area can feature Time Limited Bonuses for all users playing on Floating Island.
[News Flash] will appear as a notice, so be on the lookout.
Caution Mode
If you continue to explore the Floating Continent, the monsters will become Cautious, and strong monsters will appear in [Caution Mode].
[Caution Mode] will last a certain amount of time and it can be removed by using the item [Purifying Holy Water].
Floating Continent Battles
Exploring the Floating Continent will lead to battles which can have special features.
Enemy Item Drops
On the Floating Continent, Item Drops are not determined by each battle, but for each monster.
Mini-Battle
If you encounter monsters during your exploration and there is a large gap in power between your party and the monsters,
you will not enter a real battle, but instead immediately defeat the enemies in a [Mini-Battle] and obtain the items.
In these cases, you will obtain items that you would have obtained from battle normally.
Fleeing Enemies
Certain enemies on the Floating Continent will attempt to flee combat.
Even if you win the battle, enemies that flee will not award any items.
Platinum Treasure Chests
Rare items can be obtained from [Platinum Chests].
Floating Continent features battles against the following special types of enemies.
Gatekeeper
Each Floor's portal features a [Gatekeeper].
Defeating this enemy grants you access to the next Floor.
Rare Types
Each Area features [Rare Types] of enemies.
Rare Types in each Area have rare item drops when defeated.
After being defeated, that Rare Type will not appear again for a short time, but will reappear again later.
The Floor Map will show a [Rare Types List] for those that can appear.
Area Boss
Each Area has some Floors which can have the [Area Boss] appear.
Defeating the Area Boss will guarantee rare items as drops.
After defeating the Area Boss, you will have a special bonus in that entire Area for a certain amount of time.
Unappraised Items
You can obtain [Unappraised Items] from exploring Floating Continent.
Unappraised Items can be [Appraised] to reveal their true value.
Unappraised Items can have a rank of S, A, B, or C, and the higher the rank, the greater value it can be when it is appraised.
You can only hold 5 Unappraised Items and you will not be able to obtain more while you have 5.
Shine Badges and Enhancement Stones
You can obtain [Shine Badges] and [Enhancement Stones] from the Floating Continent.
These can be used to strengthen your equipment.

Strengthened with Enhancement Stones, can be set into Equipment to enhance it.
Has special effects that can be used in equipment
絶縁の板石
Disconnection Flagstone
A stone holding magical powers of disconnection.
Used to remove a Shine Badge from equipment. Used at the Mobile Atelier.
※ Each Shine Badge requires one Flagstone.
※ Flagstones can be purchased at the [Shop] for Gold
飽熱の薪火
Sated Heat Kindling
Increases the chance of Miracle Manufacturing for all equipment recipes for 5 minutes.
※ Cannot be combined with Spirit Heat Kindling
霊熱の薪火
Spirit Heat Kindling
Greatly increases the chance of Miracle Manufacturing for all equipment recipes for 5 minutes.
※ Cannot be combined with Spirit Heat Kindling
破防の術符
Protection Charm
A special charm that has magical powers of protection.
Can protect a Shine Badge from being destroyed when enhancing equipment fails. Used at the Mobile Atelier.
※ Only protects the Shine Badge during failure. The Enhancement Stone is destroyed.
不破の術符
Indestructible Charm
Protect a Shine Badge from being destroyed when enhancing equipment fails. Used at the Mobile Atelier.
※ Only protects the Shine Badge during failure. The Enhancement Stone is destroyed.
幸運のコンパス
Compass of Fortune
Increases the drop rate of treasure chests from enemies in the Floating Continent for 60 minutes.
Does not affect enemies that do not drop treasure chests.
※ Cannot be combined with the Platinum Stick.
白金のステッキ
Platinum Stick
Increases the drop rate of platinum treasure chests from enemies in the Floating Continent for 60 minutes.
Does not affect enemies that do not drop platinum treasure chests.
※ Cannot be combined with the Compass of Fortune.
清めの聖水
Purifying Holy Water
Clears the [Cautious Enemy] status when used.
※ Can only be used when enemies are on caution.
Shine Badges and Enhancement Stones
[Shine Badges] do not have any stats when obtained.
[Enhancement Stones] can be used to strengthen your Shine Badges to be set in equipment.
[Enhancement Stones] feature various stats, effects that have a chance to be applied on attack, element strengthening, resistances, and many other effects, with a cost involved.
Shine Badges can be strengthen at the [Mobile Atelier]. Shine Badges and Enhancement Stones can be obtained at the Floating Continent.
Strengthening Shine Badges
Shine Badges can be strengthened using Enhancement Stones.
Enhancement Stones have a [Cost], and Shine Badges have a [Cost Limit]
Enhancement Stone Costs have a range, and the Cost itself is determined at the point of strengthening.
If the Enhancement Stone's Cost exceeds the Shine Badge's Cost Limit, the enhancement will fail and the Shine Badge will be destroyed.
You can use the items [Protection Badge] to reduce the chance of this happening during enhancement, or the [Indestructible Badge] to prevent it completely.
However, the Enhancement Stone will still be destroyed.
Setting Shine Badges
You can set an enhanced Shine Badge into an equipment's Shine Badge Slot to give it the badge's effects.
Shine Badge Slots on equipment varies depending on the equipment type and the +s (pluses).
To remove the Shine Badge from equipment, the [Disconnection Flagstone] is required.
※ One Disconnection Flagstone is required for each Shine Badge.
※ The Shine Badge is destroyed upon removal.

Enhancement Stones have various types of effects with varying costs involved.
※ There are Enhancement Stones with set Cost and Effects too

Blacklight Reinforcement Stone
Increases the rate of certain Shine Badges' random stats.
Any number can be used as long as the Cost Limit is not reached.
※ Blacklight Reinforcement Stones can be used with the same type of Enhancement Stone to increase its stats.
※ Cannot be used to increase the effects of non-stat values.
弱剣・弱盾・弱杖・弱衣
PATK/PDEF/MATK/MDEF Down
Grants a chance for your skills to apply these status conditions.
Higher rarity Enhancement Stones have a higher chance of activation.

Grants a chance to attack first for a round.
Higher rarity Enhancement Stones have a higher chance of activation.

Sure-Hit
Grants a chance of your attack to be sure-hit for a round.

Increases the Cost Limit of a Shine Badge by 1.
※ Randomly determines Cost on Shine Badges that are already Set.
※ Only one [Rainbow Expansion Stone] can be used on a Shine Badge that is already Set.
※ Cannot be used on Shine Badges that have already reached their Cost Limit.

The types of monsters you face get stronger with time and weather!
The deeper you progress, the more rare items you can obtain!
2. Appraise Items!
You'll find unappraised items as you explore!
You can appraise them to determine their usefulness!
3. New Equipment Enhancement
Obtain Floating Continent-exclusive equipment Enhancement items!
Enhancement Stones with various effects can be used to improve your Shine Badges.
Set these Shine Badges into your equipment for a power up!

Exploration Method
Never before seen monsters roam these strange lands...!
Obtain Exploration Rewards and various items from them!
1. Select an Area
2. Look for your destination
Click on the terrain you see!
3. Begin your exploration!
Continuing your Exploration and you might find strong monsters with the [! Caution] sign.
These are very dangerous and you should approach only after checking the area...

Appraisal Method
Rare types of monsters can drop Platinum Treasure Chests,
which yield unappraised items for you to [Appraise]!
1. Use the [Appraise] Button
2. Appraised items can not be used!
The Floating Continent can drop [Shine Badges], [Enhancement Stones], Weapons, and other items!

Shine Badges and enhancement Stones
The [Mobile Atelier] can use Enhancement Stones and Shine Badges to customize your equipment!

Shine Badges have a Cost Limit attached, and Enhancement Stones have a Required Cost, which must be met to successfully enhance equipment.

Enhancing Your Shine Badges
! Enhancing Cost ranges
Enhancement Stone costs have a value range.
When they are used for enhancing, the cost will be chosen from within that range.
! Be careful about exceeding the Cost Limit
When you're enhancing your Shine Badge and exceed the Cost Limit,
There is a chance of your enhancement to fail, causing your Enhancement Stone and Shine Badge to be destroyed.
! Protecting your Shine Badge
Use the Protection Charm and Indestructible Charm to [Protect] your Shine Badge,
which prevents the Shine Badge from being destroyed when enhancement fails.

Setting and Removing Shine Badges
! Setting Shine Badges
After you've used Enhancement Stones to strengthen your Shine Badge, you can set it into your equipment.
Once set, the Shine Badges' stats and special effects will powerup your equipment.
Normally, you can have 1 Badge per equipment, but some equipment can have multiples...?
! Removing Shine Badges
Once you've set a Shine Badge into equipment, you can replace it with a different Shine Badge.
To remove a Shine Badge, you need to obtain and use a [Disconnection Flagstone] which can be purchased from the Shop.
