    Floating Continent

    Floating Continent
Scroll down to see the explanation with pictures.

[Floating Continent] is a new stage for adventures, an undiscovered land floating above Misterio, waiting to be explored.
Floating Continent features a new equipment enhancement system, with [Shine Badges] and [Enhancement Stones], and other exclusive items and equipment.
※ Requires Main Quest Volume 1 Chapter 5 Cleared to access

The Floating Continent features [Areas] you can choose, and a Floor Map image is displayed.
You can move across this Map to explore different areas as the president.
[President Movement] can be [precisely] moved to the destination point, or [freely] moved to explore the surrounding area.
You can encounter battles while exploring, encounter certain status improving events, damage taking events, or even events for discovering resources.
※ If the destination point is too far, the exploration may end before reaching it.

You can change your party with the [Party Change] button during your exploration.

    Area and Floor
The Floating Continent features various Areas, and each Area has several Floors (levels).
Reaching each Floor will feature a scene change, and as you continue your explorations, each Floor can be revealed completely.
To continue to the next floor, you must proceed to the [Portal] and defeat the [Gatekeeper].
In each Area, proceeding to deeper Floors will feature more powerful enemies, and they will have accordingly valuable rewards.

You can continue to explore and discover new Areas.

The President icon shows your current location.
The destination is shown as a Flag. The colour changes depending on [President Movement].
The exploration starting point is a Tent, where you make base camp.
During your explorations, if you fail in a battle, you will be reset from other floors to this point.
The next floor is depicted by a Portal.
Defeating the Gatekeeper grants access to the next floor.

    Floor Mission
    Each Floor features a Mission.
Clearing all these Missions gives a reward.

    Weather and Time of Day
The Weather and Time of Day on Floating Continent can change, and depending on this, the monsters and their items will change.
Weather and Time of Day will change depending on the amount of time that has passed.

    News Flash
Each Area can feature Time Limited Bonuses for all users playing on Floating Island.
[News Flash] will appear as a notice, so be on the lookout.

    Caution Mode

[Caution Mode] will last a certain amount of time and it can be removed by using the item [Purifying Holy Water].

    Floating Continent Battles
Exploring the Floating Continent will lead to battles which can have special features.

    Enemy Item Drops
On the Floating Continent, Item Drops are not determined by each battle, but for each monster.

    Mini-Battle
If you encounter monsters during your exploration and there is a large gap in power between your party and the monsters,
you will not enter a real battle, but instead immediately defeat the enemies in a [Mini-Battle] and obtain the items.
In these cases, you will obtain items that you would have obtained from battle normally.

    Fleeing Enemies
Certain enemies on the Floating Continent will attempt to flee combat.
Even if you win the battle, enemies that flee will not award any items.

    Gatekeeper
Each Floor's portal features a [Gatekeeper].

Each Area features [Rare Types] of enemies.
Rare Types in each Area have rare item drops when defeated.
After being defeated, that Rare Type will not appear again for a short time, but will reappear again later.
The Floor Map will show a [Rare Types List] for those that can appear.

    Area Boss
Each Area has some Floors which can have the [Area Boss] appear.
Defeating the Area Boss will guarantee rare items as drops.
After defeating the Area Boss, you will have a special bonus in that entire Area for a certain amount of time.

    Unappraised Items

    2. Set your Shine Badge into your equipment

    Enhancing Your Shine Badges

[Enhancement Stones] with various effects can be used to strengthen your equipment, giving it various powers.

    ! About [Cost]
Shine Badges have a Cost Limit attached, and Enhancement Stones have a Required Cost, which must be met to successfully enhance equipment.

    Enhancing Your Shine Badges

    ! Enhancing Cost ranges
Enhancement Stone costs have a value range.
When they are used for enhancing, the cost will be chosen from within that range.

! Be careful about exceeding the Cost Limit
When you're enhancing your Shine Badge and exceed the Cost Limit,
There is a chance of your enhancement to fail, causing your Enhancement Stone and Shine Badge to be destroyed.

    ! Protecting your Shine Badge

which prevents the Shine Badge from being destroyed when enhancement fails.

※The removed Shine Badge is destroyed.

Shine Badges are very delicate, and with current techniques, they will break when removed.
That's why you should put a lot of thought when setting.

Furthermore, to remove a Shine Badge, you need to obtain and use a [Disconnection Flagstone] from the Floating Continent.

After playing the floating continent for few days. I think we need the spyglass like in the battlefield, the pathing is so unpredictable, I spent more turns just trying to get 100% map. Also do we really need to have that result screen displayed every time we move? They could just wrapped it up at the end like battlefield.

@oryxlynx If you can't burst it down, use poison and tank it through. Also there is 80% paralysis resist accessory so try it out.
