    I don't have poison user that can withstand the attack even with a soldier in front.
    magic dmg is so strong
    1000+ Mdef still receives 1000+ dmg
    the less the boss's HP, boss will attack more often too.

    I tried fascinate to block the AoE magic, but it immune to the effect. lol

    So I went with the curse team as in the video. even though I have to run the loop (fight -> run away) over and over again but at least it worked well if the curse hit

    Balance updates planned for Floating Continent

    [Floating Continent Difficulty Reduction]
    Due to current concerns of Presidents, we will be greatly reducing the difficulty of [Gatekeepers], such that they will be clearable without having to rely solely on [Curse].

    We plan to have the balance adjusted to the point where Presidents will well raised Section Managers and Assistant Directors can clear it.

    We also plan to return the [Curse] rate to its previous value, for those of you who want to clear it with that method.

    ※ We are currently investigating considerations for Presidents who put in the extra effort and cleared before these balance changes


    [Shine Badge Balance Improvements]
    We will be greatly reducing the difficulty in obtaining Shine Badges, and their cost consumptions.
    With this improvement, we want players to safely be able to create powerful Shine Badges more easily.

    Also, the Shine Badge removal item [Disconnection Flagstone] will now be purchaseable with Gold.
    Furthermore, Shine Badges removed from equipment will no longer be destroyed.
    You will now be able to more effectively make use of your Shine Badges and strengthen your equipment in a more carefree manner.

    [Enhancement Stone Balance Improvements]
    We will be reducing the appearance rates of low value Enhancement Stones.
    Furthermore, we will be greatly increasing the inventory space for Enhancement Stones so you are not constantly dealing with a full inventory.

    In addition to these changes, we will be dealing with more improvements regarding the UI, load, and other various problems brought to our attention.

    We would like to apologize for the constant need for balance changes for [Floating Continent] following its release.

    What is an example of a Curse comp for clearing this high level content anyway?

    @illyrin The basic team comp is consist of a full team of Elin/Veronica with CW and preferably level 1. If you don't have one, archer with curse bow does it too but it is at a lower curse chance. The more advance one use to tackle floor 24 boss also need to have EX Aurora since the boss always does pre-emtive AOE.

    @ohno133 Thanks, that helps a lot.

    I'm finding it a bit crass that the devs to require this to advance past level 20 on these maps, and to make it even worse they massively buffed the Curse resistance of enemies so that I'm stuck casting Veronica's spell 300+ times. It's particularly annoying because these effects don't care about the girl's level and effect is all that matters. A level 1 Veronica with a +3 CW is just as good as a triple promo 30 Veronica with a +3 CW. In fact, the level 1 Veronica is better because her defenses are lower so the curse return damage will be higher.

    I've tried it doing these maps with full teams of third promo girls who are level 20+ to try and to do it "fairly" and they just cannot do it. They don't do enough damage, and once these boss mobs get low in HP they start attacking 3-4 times a turn and there's simply nothing you can do to keep up with that kind of incoming damage. I have no idea how the developers of the game expect you to clear this stuff if triple promo girls with CWs and all that do scratch damage then get gunned down by AoE attack spam except by whaling Shine Stones ressurects or by curse cheese.

    here is my curse team. even not lv1 they still receives 150 - 200k dmg on single attack ( not AoE) so it works as well

    Floating Continent has had its difficulty reduced
    - Weakened almost all monsters on Floating Continent
    - Greatly reduced the attack power of all [Gate Keepers]
    - Reduced the defense power of all [Gate Keepers]
    - Increased the chance of [Curse] activating for all [Gate Keepers]
    - Adjusted the evasion rate of certain monsters
    - Increased the steps for [Wander] from 40 to 50

    Area Boss balance mitigation
    Reduced the time between Area Bosses respawning after defeating an Area Boss
    Increased the chance of the [Rare Monsters appear UP] effect activating after defeating an Area Boss

    When you remove a Shine Badge from your equipment, it will no longer be destroyed
    ※ The image describing how to use these will be updated at a later date.

    Shine Badge production difficulty mitigation
    - Increased the chance of the lower cost range appearing when using an Enhancement Stone on a Shine Badge

    Enhancement Stone balance mitigation
    - Decreased the chance of lower power Enhancement Stones apppearing
    - [Blacklight Reinforcement Stone] cost adjusted
    - [Rainbow Expansion Stone] cost adjusted

    just got to 1-25 without even resorting to single ceo revive, let alone curses or poison
    gatekeepres died in 2 turns
    they kinda overdid the nerfing?
