    Event Discussion: 海より来たりし鬼の若子(★4 Kino-jou Event)

    JP Wiki

    1/30 (Tue) to 2/13 (Tue)

It is a drop event with a Mountain bonus. Complete the map to have a chance for a castle to drop. If they do not drop, the next completion has a higher chance of dropping. Difficulty does not affect drop rates or rarities as far as we know. Only the event map itself affects the drop rarity. The easier maps (E-1, E-2) are much less likely to drop the ☆4 units, and the harder maps (E-3+) almost only ever drop ☆4. As a note, E-X1 and E-X2 drop 3 and 4 jinmusume from their warehouses respectively, so they are a good place to level one girl while farming.
    The chance brackets are
    1~2 Slightly increased chance
    3~7 Increased chance
    8+ Greatly increased chance

    Rewards are
    ★4 Kino-jou

Skill: Reduces damage taken for all castles in range by 5% for each upgrade

    ★2 Oniga-jou
    [img][/img]
    Skill: Increases HP by 25%

    E-1
Special Mission: Complete without gigantifying (any difficulty)
    Reward: 5000 Gold

    E-2
Special Mission: Complete without taking any damage on Tono (any difficulty)
    Reward: Tsubasa [Kai-ichi]

    E-3
Special Mission: Complete without losing any warehouses (any difficulty)
    Reward: Byakusen [Kai-ichi]

    E-X1
Special Mission: Complete without losing any warehouses (any difficulty)
    Reward: ★2 Oniga-jou
Special Mission2 : Complete without losing any warehouses (hard only)
    Reward: ★3槌 神木の槌 +3 (Hammer)

19/20/24 are good forward positions if you have the levels; however, 14/19/24/27/28 are vulnerable to the airships which can do a lot of damage.
A strong ranged unit at 4 can take care of the cannons that pop up at the top left. I used a single target crossbow at 4/5 upgrades on Hard.

I would block at 11 and maybe 21. 11 can stop the spectres that walk through, and 21 can stop the magic users.

    E-4
Special Mission: Complete without taking any damage on Tono (any difficulty)
    Reward: Byakusen [Kai-ichi]

    E-5
Special Mission: Complete without taking any damage on Tono (any difficulty)
    Reward: Tsubasa [Kai-ichi]

    E-X2
Special Mission: Complete without losing any warehouses (any difficulty)
    Reward: Kino-jou
Special Mission2 : Complete without losing any warehouses (hard only)
    Reward: ★3 回転砲 +3 (3-hit gun)

This map has quite the high ki potential. A lot of the tiles aren't accessible due to Bicchuu-Matsuyama dealing a lot of damage with her gun though.
You'll want to carefully plan your set ups so when Okou and Bicchuu-Matsuyama start moving, they'll prioritize a tanky melee instead of your fragile ranged. You can use some tokens to absorb hits, especially for the 3-hit gun.
If you have your own, and/or Usuki, you can get a lot of ki by defending at 9 from the large waves that come in Round 1.
The flags provide a lot of toughness for the enemies, so you'll likely want to take them all out on Hard first.
5 is a decent position to snipe the left flag, and 27 with upgrades can take both of the right side ones if you have the ki for it. Have a decent melee at 32 to absorb the hits for D.
You'll want a blocker at 20 to stop the horses and Oniga at the end, and possible the Sumo too if you have a lot of defense.
The Sumo walks 3-6-8-11-15-20. You can slow it down quite a bit with a talisman at 5 which is safe from everything except Okou at the end of Round 1. You can reposition more forward though since the range from there isn't too great.

Iwadonoyama is quite good for this map since she can make Bicchuu-Matsuyama kill Kino, and then make the sumo hit Oniga once or twice if you time it really well, but it's very tricky. If you don't have Neuschwanstein or a similarly super tanky shield, you may have trouble if you end up having to tank them both at the same time.
