    Kancolle 2018 Chirstmas Gift box

From now on, you will get one Christmas gift box when you login.

When you open it, you can choose between a Type 0 Reconnaissance Seaplane Model 11B, a T97 bomber (931 squadron), or 5 screw.

The box will disappear after the "New Year" maint.

Model11B is pretty much the way to go right?

@Danielosama well, depends on how many of the skilled version, based version and shiun you have I suppose, and whether you are going to raise Yura dupe. 5 screw would be a better choice to those with enough good recon.

Basically, just count to see if you can replace a worse scout plane with this plane in a fleet.

@211303 I have 2 skilled versions, 1 base version and no Shiuns (I misclicked the quest reward back in the day, and there was no "are you sure" button, so RIP).

For surface combat the buildable ro43 is a little better (improving its los is also very cheap), so i'll take the screws (I already have 2 skilled, 1 base version, 2 shiun and 5 ro43 with some improvement).

Not really, los from improvement only affects routing. It doesn't affect artillery spotting rate.

As for shiun, it's basically whether you prefer 1fp, 1acc or around 1.5% spotting rate under as. I personally would take the former for some bb.
