    [Spring 2019 E4] Commence! Allies Rescue: The 2nd Hawaii Operation





    This post will be updated with confirmed information pertaining to map E-4 as it is spaded. The thread can also serve as a starting point for people to discuss the map if they want.

    Disclaimer: Information in this thread is subjected to change when new or additional data is made available.








    General Event Outline, Participation Requirements and Difficulty System



    To participate in this event, you must have a sortie win rate of 75% or above. You also need at least 5 spare Kanmusu slots and 20 equipment slots. Completely depleting the health bar and therefore clearing the map will lock it in the chosen difficulty, it cannot be changed afterwards.








    Please be aware that it is not possible to increase the difficulty between maps by more than one. As an example if you have cleared E-1 on "Easy" you will not be able to select "Hard" for E-2; only "Medium" will be available. However players will be able to choose "Hard" again for E-3 if you pick "Medium" on E-2 for this specific scenario. This does not affect the ability to decrease difficulty; players will still be able to choose "Easy" after clearing the previous map on "Hard".

    @ofi123 Basically the Pearl harbor fleet. Saving ABKM might be a good idea for E5 though.

    E4 preliminary guide:

    Note that this is a preliminary guide and might subject to change due to additional info. In addition, I will not be posting the comp I used as I mess up lock big time here. I will also recommend against using the following historical ships in E4 as they might have use in E5 due to their functionality. The exact ship choice might change once I have all the guides done and do a overall revision.

    Akagi (extra slot for fulfilling radar requirement in E5)
    Any American ship (damage bonus)
    ABKM (for TCI in E5)
    Kasumi (High luck DD with historical bonus in E4)


    WARNING:
    Your ships will be tagged with a CTF or STF when they are sortied in the according fleet type in this map. The two fleet takes different starting point and they cannot be mixed. You will be using STF for LD, and probably for farming too, but there is some talk of fast+ CTF farming as well. The following comp will assume you farm with STF.

    Route unlock

    Requirement:

    Base defense AS
    AS for L and K
    S rank for J, S and T

    Base defense: Setup 3rd base with your best interceptor. Should be able to get AS with just one base if your interceptor is reasonably good. Otherwise, just use more base for defense and sortie once more just for AS in base defense.


    Step 1 (AS at node K, S rank for S): Sortie a fast STF (basically your LD fleet) with 2BB 2ca(v) and two fighter mule CVL (or just 1CV with some fighter sweep to K). This is the only place you will use CVL here so just use whatever fast CVL you have. Then, proceed to S rank S with a 1CV comp and normal equipment. Send all lbas to node S.


    Step 2 (S rank in node T, AS for node L): Sortie a CTF (chipping fleet) but with a slow AV. Send lbas fighter sweep to node J to suppress it for passing rate.

    Step 3 (S rank node J): Just do it while chipping. You should be able to S rank it on the way, but if you can't do it before reaching 1/3 hp, stop once for night battle.

    LBAS: A base with 4 fighter to node J, the other with 1 fighter 3 bomber to boss

    4 Surface radar is needed for routing. The comp isn't designed to actually killing the boss, but rather use DA to chip the boss down. Once you reach 1/3 hp, if you have done all the gimmick, a new starting point will appear. Switch to LD comp for the rest. The tank carrier in main fleet is for DJ hime.

    Fighter power: 340 ish

    LBAS: 1 fighter 3 bomber for both bases, send to boss

    Note that all ship must be fast. Speed hack doesn't work here. You also need 4 surface radar for shortest route.
