    Did everything without normal node support until LD runs - hehe, not that personal luck factors mattter in this game anyways.

    You can use 2 CLT plus ABKM/Yura for extra opening strike for better passing rate plus you could give your DDs sonars (jervis and johnny should do okay dmg with those against loli sub) and leave Zara or Prinz with T3 shell DA setup; pre LD boss node is quite tame - I S ranked it all except for one missed attack which made it A rank.

    Just a quick note. It seems to not have been updated here in Himeuta but it looks like AS at D is required for the debuff.
    (yes, it is already required for the 2nd start unlock. Another time during the debuff.)


    Normally you would pass by here if you use CTF to attack the boss, or if you used CTF to hit H and O, or a fleet with multiple CV to attack E. Some people who didn't hear the debuff voiceline play also ended up getting the debuff at boss anyway when just going ahead and attacking with CTF (and thus passing through D). It seems it slipped under the radar for a long time because of that. The voiceline ought to play if it was the last requirement, although since for a long time we didn't know if was a requirement, some people may have muted the game by that point.

    There are quite a few alternative fleets in use now so just a heads up for those not going in with the usual recommended comps.

    @Makikaki: Thanks. I made some minor load out adjustments, but also threw in Arashio K2 with full anti-installation load out in escort to help clear out installations that kept hanging around. Along with some better RNG (less retreats) things went significantly better and got it done fairly quickly. Now just have to get to LD, debuff, and clear. Currently re-sparkling support. Not sure if I need node support for chipping or not, but CTF (and not the 4x CV(B) massive opening airstrike type) so seem to be prudent to do so. Will run double support for final kill.

    E3 Hard part 2 cleared!

    Notable drops: Luigi

    Probably the hardest part of this phase for me was getting the 2 A+ ranks at boss node to unlock the 2nd starting point. Fleet used for chipping and LD after 2nd point unlocked is largely based on the recommended one posted by @211303 and was very effective, netting 3 S-ranks and 1 with Anzio at 100+ hp left. For LD, the escort fleet may be harder than the main fleet, so boss support is highly recommended to deal with it.

    Part 1



    Boss support is not needed for chipping, and optional for LD


    LBAS for LD: send 2 bases of 4 bombers each to boss node, and 1 base of 4 toukais to sub node F



    Fleet for node O gimmick



    LBAS: 2 bases of 1 fighter 1 LB recon 2 bombers each to node O, and 1 base of 4 toukais to node F



    Part 2



    Chipping fleet



    LD fleet (no boss support used for the successful clear, but highly recommended to use)



    LBAS: 2 bases of 1 fighter 3 bombers each to boss node U, and 1 bases of 4 toukais to node F. For LD, you can switch 1 of the bases to 4 bombers, or even 2 bases of 4 bombers

    ...finally unlocked start point 2, which gave me salt mines. After a string of retreats decided to double support, aaaand RNG gave me a string of red T at the boss...

    Ammo reaching 30k. Guess I'll have to wait till friend fleet before attempting to chip. Too much salt.

    Finally at last dance. Is it better to go 2x 4 Lbombers and get AP for all 4 strikes, or 2x 3 Lbombers 1 fighter and get AS for all 4 strikes?
