[Summer 2019 E3 European Counterattack Operation! Commence

This post will be updated with confirmed information pertaining to map E-3 as it is spaded. The thread can also serve as a starting point for people to discuss the map if they want.

Disclaimer: Information in this thread is subjected to change when new or additional data is made available.

General Event Outline, Participation Requirements and Difficulty System

To participate in this event, you must have a sortie win rate of 75% or above. You also need at least 5 spare Kanmusu slots and 20 equipment slots. Completely depleting the health bar and therefore clearing the map will lock it in the chosen difficulty, it cannot be changed afterwards.

Please be aware that it is not possible to increase the difficulty between maps by more than one. As an example if you have cleared E-1 on "Easy" you will not be able to select "Hard" for E-2; only "Medium" will be available. However players will be able to choose "Hard" again for E-3 if you pick "Medium" on E-2 for this specific scenario. This does not affect the ability to decrease difficulty; players will still be able to choose "Easy" after clearing the previous map on "Hard".

    General E-3 Map Information

    Difficulty: ☆x16

Sortie Mode: CF and normal fleet

    Fleet locking: (hard only)

It's getting quite late today. I guess I will start E3 tomorrow.

Saw that tweets mentioning that the E2 enemy bombers were bugged in that they didn't do much damage, and that E3 ones will be stronger, as before they were juts recon types. Sounds fun. Cough.

Both P1 and P2 seem to be installation bosses, and there seem to be a pretty good amount of bonus for the M4A1 from E2. Not that I am complaining, I like some big numbers while nuking SDH.

Seems like saving your British ships for E3 is a given.

Here's the run down of what I can glean from watching frontliner streams.

Part 1: Use a fast STF with no standard CVs for fastest route. Max 2 BB.
(not sure about other ship limits as most people bring a odd combination of ships for installation+imp killing+aaci)

Unlocking the boss node: (You can use slow fleet from this point onwards)
A rank CA Hime at Node O twice
S rank BB Hime at Node K once
S rank Supply hime at Node E once (use a single fleet, bring anti-installation+imp killer)
Have at least two base defences with AS (damage is ok)

Unlocking the 2nd start point (you must perform these steps again, those from first unlock don't count):
S rank Node T twice... Use a combined fleet with 3 SS in each fleet, 6 SS total. No kidding...
    AS at Node D, R
A rank at boss twice, either STF or CTF is fine
    Base defence with AS

For boss, you can use either STF or CTF (CTF recommended to start from 2nd start point), slow speed allowed, but max 2 BB and max 2 CV to avoid being sent to subhime Node P.
The fleet is similar to 1st boss fleet except with no need for imp killer. Use installation killers and historical TCI (and OASW and AACI to help pass rate)

    Boss Debuff (tentative):
NOTE: The Boss Debuff steps don't count if done before the boss is in her final form!
(yes, it appears that the boss has a 'broken' form for her non-last dance form, but all evidence of boss break so far only has her in her last dance form)

    A rank E and O
A rank J (must be single fleet or TCF, you can try subcheese with all 3 bases of bombers to J and both supports)
    AS Node H (use a super-heavy CTF with 3CV and 2BB)
    Base defence with AS
AS at Node D (you can do this while doing one of the other requirements, or as the final requirement en route to attacking the boss' LD form with CTF)

EDIT: Updated again concerning debuff. Add Node D

@NanashiYoukai I saw some frontliners, and the High altitude bombers still seemed like a joke, am I wrong?

@Danielosama The change is that their damage to bases is very high now (previously, in E2, I never saw them even get the base to orange HP, now they regularly red all 3 bases).

However, they are easy to defeat with just standard interceptors in all bases, so getting the AS for unlocking is not a problem. The rocket interceptors are not strictly needed to defeat them, which is good since non-rankers have max 2 rocket interceptors anyway.

@NanashiYoukai Alright, with the Devs talking so much about them and the rocket interceptors' supposed special gimmick, I was expecting something else.
