    ▼ Gate to Another World
Henceforth referred to as the [Gate]

The [Gate] can be accessed through the Quest screen.
You can select which floor to challenge the [Crimson Dragon Valphas] from the [Gate].
Bread and other resources are not required to sortie against [Valphas].

You can sortie all of your current parties against [Valphas].
If you have more than one partie formed, and your current party is KOed, your other parties can continue the battle with [Valphas].
The bottom right of the battle menu also has a [Party MENU] button where you can select a [Party CHANGE] button when it is clicked.

Defeating [Valphas] will yield Demon Materials, [Demon Souls], and other rewards.
Demon Souls are consumed to upgrade your [Accessory], and collecting a certain amount will unlock [Demon Soul Rewards] from a list of set rewards.
Demon Soul Rewards will reset at the end of the current period, but the total amount of Demon Souls you own will be carried forward to the next [Crimson Dragon Valphas].

The [Gate] is accessible after clearing Volume 1 Chapter 4.

    ▼ Other World Power Stone
You will receive 3x Power Stones every day, which will increase the Demon Soul reward amounts and drop chances when activated.
※ If you use the Power Stone and are defeated, they will still be consumed
※ 3x Power Stones are given out every day at 04:00 JST.

    ▼ Accessory From Another World
Henceforth referred to as the [Accessory]

One [Accessory] sleeps in the [Gate].

    [Parameters]
The [Accessory] can be upgraded by consuming [Demon Souls] to increase its level and a chosen parameter.
The [Accessory] also contains a special attack bonus, which increases based on its level.

    Water-type employees:

If you don't have a lot of the element rings, you'll need more water.
Unfortunately, there's a lot of limited characters here.
Hisame is very good because of her single target. She can help part break or finish easily, and if you're using AOE from other sources, she can focus on parts because she's melee and can't hit the body.
Elmina is a water soldier. She's not particularly strong but if you're struggling to find a tank, she can be a good choice because she does more damage than someone without a ring.

Esle's event just finished and she's probably by far the strongest water unit. However, if you don't have Target Parts/Target Lowest HP, she'll probably end up killing the main body before the other part breaks if you don't have any other single target.

    Single Target employees: (excludes Fire)

Good Fire ones if you have a high level ring are EX Siegrid, Bridal Monique, Lido, and Siegrid EP1.
Uniform Fanaril is a good Light option.
Kicca is a good Earth option. They can both DEF down too for Archers.
As always, Halloween Armonica is really strong. Saimi, Camille, or Systry EP1 are good options otherwise.

Overall, it's a lot easier to use AOE on Valphas than it was on Niflheimr, especially since all the parts have approximately the same HP.

A tip for this raid boss - always try to break the claw and then the head as fast as possible. (Ex Nona has the perfect strategy for that - "Target the Highest Attack") Breaking these 2 eliminates the wipe attacks, except on turn 10.

This is my team for farming lvl 100. Everyone with their element raid ring, Ex Nona with the lobster ring. Ex Siegrid deals very high damage even with elemental disadvantage, I especially tailor the ring for her. Rose & uniform Ann-Marie are my tanks. Esle and even swimsuit Lido actually deal more damage than Hisame, but if I don't use Hisame, the main body dies before I can break the tail.

    @Hidetsugu Thanks for the tips.

I haven't had much time to push very hard, but the few tips I have are:
After it goes below 50% HP, it will use a counter breath at the start of the next round that's supposedly MATK. Every other attack is PATK.
You can kind of ignore the claw paralysis by running Rose's EP3 or EX Rose, and giving 0 AGI to your Magician and Cleric and placing the Cleric on the left of the Magician. You lose damage from not having the +15% ATK on the Magician hat, but you won't have to suffer through paralysis turns.

If you break every part, you can switch to a team with two surehit tanks and not worry about the other DPS slots taking any damage to finish off the body. If your main team has full elemental rings though, chances are even if they aren't single target attackers, they'll still be stronger.
It's still a safe opportunity though if part of your main part breaking team dies.

Unless if they add some insane fire magician, the ring should be tailored for EX Siegrid or Bridal Monique. They are by far the two best fire characters.

@Folseus Besides the paralysis, there's also the annoying blind from the tail.
I dealt with them by using +30% agi armor and some agi relics on my cleric, so she acts 1st.

@Hidetsugu If your Cleric acts last with 0 AGI, she cleanses the Blind at the end of the round so everyone starts clean next round. The tail's blind should be slower than your party, not sure if there's a case where it's faster.
I guess the end result is the same but with AGI on Cleric, you can run the magician with AGI too.

I'm trying Caterina as my 5th and leader and she seems to be working out pretty well.

Gonna try this as my main party for a while.

Might switch back to Ann-Marie with the Earth Ring. My Hisame is only 2/5, it's really annoying to see her hit so low compared to Kicca.

    @kyoshiros Copied from the discord:
    部隊全員 to/of all squad
    対属性攻撃力アップ increase Anti-element attack power
    無属性攻撃力アップ increase [Null]element attack power
    火属性攻撃力アップ increase [Fire]element attack power
    水属性攻撃力アップ increase [Water]element attack power
    地属性攻撃力アップ increase [Earth]element attack power
    風属性攻撃力アップ increase [Wind]element attack power
    光属性攻撃力アップ increase [Light]element attack power
    闇属性攻撃力アップ increase [Dark]element attack power

    increase attack power against
対魔犬攻撃力アップ [Kerberos type of dimension creature]
対巨竜攻撃力アップ [Dragon type of dimension creature]
対幻獣攻撃力アップ [Griffon type of dimension creature]

regenerate all squad by HPxxx each round
    部隊全員のHPが毎ラウンド xxx 回復

The general consensus is that the most useful options are the "+ damage vs lizard/doge/birb"
And what I did for my Ex Sieg's ring was (she is fully awakened and 5th promo'd with max def line):

If your ring isn't so highly leveled - go 221 in patk/pdef/mdef first, then up to you. I decided on full offense dex/luk/str dice rolls,
because with 14k hp she doesn't need more vit and if I need mdef, I have several good S class mdef relics.

I would say VIT is always important because if you climb high enough, you'll start needing the PDEF and HP again.

    - - - Updated - - -

After getting over 100~105, the head gets so much PDEF that you basically need magic to break it.

Esle is very good at it, but her alone isn't enough, so I ended up switching Caterina back to Uniform Ann-Marie.
Alternatives would be to bring PDEF down effects, which seem to work fairly well.

Sytry EP1 would be a great single target magic for breaking the arm and then the head.
