    E3 Hard cleared!

    Notable drops: de Ruyter

Same fleet used for both parts, with only changes to Teste's equip. Overall no support expeditions required except for boss support during LD, which may be optional too, The map is easy enough that you don't need to use 12 ships in the combined fleet (reported clears using only 4 in main and 5 in escort). Historicals Ushio Jintsuu and Yukikaze are sufficient in escort to ensure an easier time at both boss nodes.

For de Ruyter farming, getting S-ranks is easy so recommended to farm post-clear. de Ruyter dropped on the LD successful run, so can't give further inputs on farming comp.

    Part 1

    Part 1 fleet

    :Part 2

    Part 2 fleet

LBAS for both parts (AS at 2nd boss node)

    I completed E-3 in esay.
Again, I wanted the gun and that's why I chose that difficulty. And on this occasion, I was able to download the app so I passed it on my phone.

The nodes in general was not so difficult (Of course, because in easy mode the submarine nodes can only have 0 or 1 weak Opening Torpedo Salvo).

In the Phase 1 it did not cost me much to defeat the Ne-class Kai (Except almost 20 buckets), i used Support Shelling everytime just in case. And... I didn't get any good drops there.

In Phase 2, the nodes before the boss are the same so there was not so much trouble. The Battleship Water Demon was really easy, even in her Kai form! I had seven ships with Historical Bonus (Haguro, Myoukou, Nachi, Naka, Ryuujou, Yuudachi and Yukikaze) so each hit did between 90-120 damage. Also, I didn't need do night battle until in her kai form.

Here i get Daitou, Kawakaze and Amagiri. But not De Ruyter yet.

I'm thinking of farm De Ruyter on E-3 before going to E-4. Anyway, I started the event with almost 40 buckets and now I only have 25 left. (Although I also want Shinshuu Maru and Houston...)

NOTE: I had already defeated her once in her kai form... But my phone ran out of battery while It was showing the results, and I had to do it again later and finally I beat her.

Congratulations on clearing and the drops!
You could stock up on buckets for E-4 though, the event has only just begun and EOs are not even released yet. Of course, you will need to have the time to do the expeditions.

E3H Cleared with @211303's guide and revised ship lock list.

Phase 1: 6 runs - first run failed to kill the boss, others all S without retreats, no sparkling, no supports used at all.
Phase 2: 5 runs - Perfect runs with no retreats and not fail-to-kills, no sparkling, no supports used at all .

More or less the same equipment as recommended by 211303, so only mentioning the relatively noteworthy.

    Main:
    Lv96 Pola, 3x Guns during Phase 1, 2x Guns + SPF during Phase 2
    Lv98 Ashigara, holepunched with Bofors
    Lv98 Nachi
    Lv93 Naka
    Lv88 Abruzzi
Lv98 Commandant Teste, 3x Guns + Zuiun during Phase 1, 4x SPF during Phase 2; holepunched with rockets K2

190 Fighter power during phase 2.
4x Bombers to the boss node.
My 4 best SPFs were only at 160 fighter power, so having Pola there for the fifth was wonderful.

    Escort:
    Lv98 Ushio
    Lv98 Jintsuu
    Lv94 Asashimo, 12asw DC + 15asw ASDIC - at exactly 100ASW + Searchlight
    Lv94 Umikaze, 13asw ASDIC + 8asw T3 DCP - at exactly 100ASW + Starshell
    Lv99 Kawakaze 2x T4 sonar + 15asw rocket launcher - at exactly 100ASW during phase 1; 12.7cmB4 x2 + GFCS during K2 (DA w/AACI)
    Lv95 Jervis

Kawakaze can't really do the powerful Sonar + DCP + DC combo even at Lv99 as suggested by 211303
I originally wanted to use Yamakaze for ASW instead, but still chose Kawakaze so she can help kill the boss during phase 2.

Either the map is really easy or I'm lucky - though De Ruyter didn't drop...
I actually forgot that the last 800HP was last dance and forgot to send in boss support...
The last dance was also once of the worst runs with both Umikaze and Kawakaze entering battle at moderate damage.
For other runs, at most one ship was moderately damaged before boss.

    E3H cleared!

I used a spare CLT on the map because I just love my opening torpedoes. As I didn't bring a CVL, I still avoided the extra preboss sub node. I kinda just used my extra CLs to fill in the wildcard spots in the fleet.

    Phase 1 - Ne-class kai

    5 S-rank, 1 A-rank (due to red T)
    total sorties: 6
    buckets used: 11

LBAS: 4 bombers, all sent to boss

My fleet was admittedly lacking a bit of oomph because I was hesitant on locking Yukikaze here after my snafu with locking Kinugasa on E2. Teste was using random zuiun that got swapped around as they were getting shot down. No node support used. Boss support only for last dance.

Phase 2 - Battleship Water oni - chipping

    4 S-rank (including 1 daytime), 2 retreats at J-node
    total sorties: 6
buckets used: 8 (+1 bucket for morale)

LBAS: 4 bombers, all sent to boss

Used the the exact same fleet as before, but swapped all planes on Teste into SPFs. No TCI either. The second boss is actually squishier than the first (200 armor vs 255). S-ranks were easy even under Red T. No supports used.

Phase 3 - Battleship Water oni - last dance

    2 A-rank, 1 S-rank
    total sorties: 3
buckets used: 7 buckets (+1 bucket for morale)

LBAS: 3 bombers 1 fighter, all sent to boss

Used boss support only. No changes in fleet. Swapped 1 LBAS bomber for a fighter here to secure AS. Forgot to do so on my first attempt (hence the A-rank). Second try was ruined by Red T and poor targeting. Even so, both failed runs still got the boss down to like ~50 HP. Using Yukikaze would've probably resulted in a faster kill, but as TCI is not really needed for clearing or farming, I feel safer saving her for E6.

In retrospect: Bringing 3 OASW ships was probably overkill because the sub node never felt like an issue. Then again, TCI was also not really needed on this map either, so it all worked out, I guess?

    On to the next!

    E-3 Hard Cleared

    Nachi: 2x20.3cm (no.3), T0 Recon M11B (Skilled), FCF
    Pola: 2x20.3cm (no.2), Ar196, Ro.44
    Ashigara: 3x20.3cm (no.2), Shiun
    Naka: 2x20.3cm (no.2), T0 Recon M11B
    Tama: 2xSKC34, T0 Obs
    Commandant Teste: [P1] 2xZuiun 634, 2x20.3cm (no.2), [P2] 2xKyoufuu Kai, 2xT2 SPF Kai [RoSa K2]

Ushio: 2x61cm Quad (max, max), Searchlight (+4)
    Murasame: 130mm B-13 (+6), T144/147 ASDIC, T3 Concentrated
    Jintsuu: 2x20.3cm (np.3), T98 Night Scout (max)
    Kawakaze: T3 Sonar, 15cm 9-tube ASW, HF/DF + Type 144/147 ASDIC [Bofors 40mm]
    Urakaze: 10cmHA+FD, T3 Sonar, T124 ASDIC
    Jervis: 3x61cm Quint

Compared to E-2, this was fairly straightforward. At first, I thought this was going to be harder than E-2H as the enemy boss fleet was combined instead of single but both the LBAS and my ships one-shot the escorts most of the time and dealt large amounts of damage on the boss (minimum of ~50 critical damage per hit). The only problem with this map was the pre-boss nodes which could be solved by OASW ships (the sub node) and FCF (for that taiha once in a while).

@211303 Question regarding fleet comps. Understand there are 2 comps - the first is the shorter route with AV and no CLT & CVL for both Part 1 & Part 2 ((bit different load out) -> Main: 3x CA + 2xCL + AV; Escort: CL + 5xDD. The second replaces AV in Main with CVL and DD for a CLT in Escort. For the CVL & CLT, you end up going D->E->G rather than D->G with E being a 2nd submarine node

I'm saving my CLT for E-4, E-5 & E-6 so won't have a CLT here, but is there any reason not to substitute a CVL for AV for Part 2 (and stick with CL + 4xDD for Escort Fleet)? I'll still end up going to Node E, but seems worth it to get a CVL which will be much better for airpower in Part 2 and maybe even some offense vs. an AV SPF mule. Actually, not seeing any reason not to use a CVL instead of AV for Part 1 as well. Again, just to be clear no CLT, just CVL instead of AV.

Am I missing something here? According to KC Wikia branching I should be fine with a CVL and no CLT in terms of branching. Node E shouldn't be bad with 3x OASW DD.

Thoughts? Also, I guess use Chitose or Chiyoda here if I do use a CVL.

    Thanks.

You could check the wikia for that.

G -> H: Fleet contains AO, Akashi Kai or Akitsushima Kai
H -> K: Meet ALL of the following requirements:

    No CV(B)
No (F)BB(V) or CV(L/B) OR fleet contains AO.
    Amount of (F)BB(V)+CVL ≤ 1
    Amount of DD+DE ≥ 4
After Part 1 is cleared, Surface Task Force is not allowed.

However, knowing that you are a long-time member of this forum, I don't think you should at all worry about taking this route. E-3 is a very trivial map...
