Well, seems i found exactly how many torps a Bertin moving at full speed can take.

Putting this in a spoiler since it ended up very long.
tl;dr their R1 DD thrash talk about us DDs for being bad as it was 2 vs 5 with over 450 points and 1 cap behind, but us "bad" DDs turned the tables on them and snatched victory away. Also the reason for their advantage was our 4 CAs going to B unsupported and gave their team the advantage.

Now this is looking bad for us...and one of them is thrash talking about us DDs...






But really, it's tough when 4 CAs when into the open B cap without other support at the beginning of the game and some of them just melted there without doing much.



Remember the torps from the pictures before? At least I got lucky and this helps a lot.





Good thing their 2 DDs, the thrash talker is 1 of them, didn't try to go for A and instead try to retake B from a Black lol. Me choosing to go between A and B to stop any A attempts turned out to be a good choice since I can flank them and not getting shot by Zao.





Lastly the Zao. Black's assistance in making him turn by shooting at him allows me to land a torp. Zao then chose to rush me instead of torping me in smoke since I chose to smoke fire at him hoping to get a fire after he damcon the flood, sadly Black was at max range so I only managed to get 2 volleys before Zao got undetected and didn't get a fire. Anyway, 2km vs 10 torps (I didn't managed to get 3rd volley off) Yeah.




Results: The DDs that their R1 Groz was thrash talking about turned this match around.
