    @ofi123 you would need 3 at most. the 4th plane should be any remaining interceptor with the highest fighter power. This should give you AP against those raids and avoid any major damage. However, due to how slow rocket interceptor gains rank (especially Shuusui), those rocket interceptor will gradually lose rank in defense.

    What are you farming anyway? If it is for DE, E1-1 really isn't worth it considering that the rate is the same as 7-2-2, but it costs a lot more per run and provides a lot less ranking point.

    Stopping by to thank @211303 for the guide along with others who posted comments/suggestions/etc. Cleared on Hard. Generally followed the guide with some tweaks here & there. Got to final kill for Node T using sortie quest CTF (worked well enough so why change), but then waited for friend fleet before clearing. Glad I did, though which one you get definitely makes a difference. Overall, just a few LD sorties to clear due in part to a timely T-Cross ADV + a very good Nagato/Mutsu CI sinking both BB Hime and one Ne-CA on clearing sortie.

    LBAS: Both sent to boss node.
    - Group 1: 2x best range 5 fighters + 2x T1 M34. Changed from guide because I didn't get AS one trip and wanted to ensure AS at the boss.
    - Group 2: LBAS Recon (skilled), Hayabusa 64th, T1 Nonaka, T1 M34

    NOTES:
    - Should have had GFCS Mk7 on Yuubari, but grabbed wrong radar. Eh, worked out.
    - Was planning to replace Asashimo K2 with Shikinami K2 for managing which friend fleet one gets more effectively, but ended up clearing before doing so. Would go with Shigure & Shikinami though.


    I'm almost done with this mini-event. Just doing the weekly quests for a 4th New Tech Plane BP (plan is to have 4 of those and 2x Ne-jet engines so potentially can build two new jets if allowed). Fortunately, my hoarding tendancy paid off as I started with 10x Hishimochi in stock so will have just enough to finish up this week with anything beyond that a bonus.

    Comments
    My main complaint is about the quest implementation (irritating mod quest requiring free ship slots, and locking weeklies behind nearly completing the map, too bad anyone not free to play on the first week!), and the annoying staggered timing of additions to the event, like Friend Fleet (to be expected), but also slot expansion and soon Okinami K2, when these things should really all be in place right at the start. The actual map sortie itself is not terribly bad at all, I definitely will not complain about a 1-map FCM, and that one map isn't even as hard as some recent final boss maps.

    For comps, I copied 211303's guide completely for all except the STF escort fleet. I was sceptical that the solo Kikka on Zuikaku would do much good, but after trying it, surprisingly it never lost ranks even once and Zuikaku got a few critical kills for me on my LD run. I figured that since it's possible to 1-shot or almost 1-shot the boss with a good night attack, passing rate is more important than concentrating firepower at the boss node, so even after Friend Fleet was added I stuck with the 1 toukai, 1 base to boss comp. Although I don't really have the right to comment since I 1-shot the LD. (first time in a while for a 'final boss', I accept it gladly!).

    I'm really grateful to 211's guide for saving me the need to think at all for this mini event, and honestly while I hated some aspects of this mini-event's implementation as stated above, the actual battling itself was a breeze and I can only wish that events could be this stress-free all the time. Once again thanks to everyone here for posting their guides and reports, and for those still trying to complete the map, good luck and happy hunting.

    That is due to the massive air resistance of Kikka kai. Would lose rank quickly if you are using Keiun instead.

    @Ferdinand @Ferdinand @Ferdinand Well, at least from the record given, around half of the taiha comes from node A when you put Kamoi in main fleet, which means that is probably not a good idea in terms of passing rate. Since then, we will pick the 2nd fleet with Atlanta in main fleet and improve that.

    1. Remove radar on Yuubari for mg for pt imp.
    2. Change Akagi to Zuikaku/Taihou/Intrepid to avoid blocking the best FF. (maintain around 600 fighter power)
    3. CLT with DA, not TCI. Yours is not luck modded.

    In the very least, node A taiha will be rare in this comp. Sparkled node support and main fleet are of cos recommended as well for the rest of the nodes.


    For even higher passing rate (while sacrificing some clearing rate), go with AP comp instead. The fleet should remain largely unchanged, but you can lower the fighter power to 480. Some adjustment would be 1) putting two cranes on Kamo for the repair mechanics, 2) changing Ise to Musashi, 3) more bomber on CV. LBAS should be a base with bomber x4 to boss, and the other with toukai x4 to node D.
